• rent must be paid 14 days in advance 
  • water bills must be paid within 28 days of the invoice date


Hume offers a range of ways for you to pay. 

BPAY is an easy and secure way to manage your rent and water usage bills through your online, mobile or telephone banking. 

You can choose which account to pay bills from, and schedule payments on a date that works for you, so long as you have funds available in your account on the scheduled date.

For Water Usage you can find your BPAY details on your water bills.

Centrepay is a free bill paying service that you can set and forget. 

You can use Centrepay to arrange regular deductions from your Centrelink payment for your rent and other ongoing expenses, such as water usage. You can also use it for payment plans with Hume for bond, rent, water or repairs debt.

Centrepay deductions can be set up in the following ways:

  • Hume can set it up for you – you will need to complete a Centrepay Deduction Authority 
  • Online - use your Centrelink online account through myGov
  • Over the phone - Call Centrelink on your regular payment number 
  • In person - visit a Service Centre where the staff can help you
